13 Hilarious episodes

The classic cartoon duo of Tom and Jerry returns in 2015 with a brand new set of adventures for the whole family to enjoy. Following the massive success of The Tom and Jerry Show Season 1 Part 1, which debuted last April in the number one slot, it was only natural that the stars would continue in a similar vein and now the wait is over. Sunny Side Up is a fantastic double DVD set that includes 13 hilarious episodes of all-new slapstick escapades starring the legendary cat and mouse alongside their favorite friends, including Spike the rough tough bulldog and Tuffy the adorable orphaned mouse.

Just Plane Nutz, Bone Dry, Magic Mirror ...

The fun starts right from the first episode, Just Plane Nutz, as the gang takes to the skies in typically madcap style, and continues in Bone Dry as Tom and Jerry put on their detective hats to solve the baffling case of Spike’s missing dog bones. Molecular Break Up brings a hint of romance to the series as a mad scientist transports Tom and Jerry to Paris in pursuit of love, while Cruisin’ for a Bruisin’ sees Jerry and Tuffy causing chaos on a luxury cruise in the sun. The hilarity doesn’t stop there though and Warner Bros. promises another nine episodes of delightful family entertainment, all told with cutting edge animation and the innovative storytelling that the studio is known for. Whether you’re an old or new fan, there’s sure to be something here to entrance and entertain.

Originally created back in 1940

Tom and Jerry were originally created back in 1940, the glory days of animation, by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera and who also worked on classics like Top Cat and Scooby Doo. The original shorts focused on the hysterical hi-jinx of Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse, as Tom forever attempted to catch his elusive foe. Thanks to Jerry’s quick wits and sheer speed though, Tom’s plans inevitably ended in painful, but hilarious, failure.
