Tom And Jerry Time Travel Game 2 - Jerry And Nibbles Team Up

Jerry and Nibbles team up in fruit collecting adventure through an unknown backyard to get to their house. I honestly have no idea why everybody calls this game Tom and Jerry Time Travel, and on top of everything this is part 2. It has nothing to do with the time travel, all the signs and instructions are given in the language which I do not understand, and at the beginning there's a poster depicting Tom and Jerry as a couple of detectives which makes everything even more confusing. EDIT: scroll down and read the last paragraph which explains how to play this game.

Regarding the controls, I've check each and every key on my keyboard just to make sure I didn't miss one. It seems that the only two sets of controls available are WASD for Jerry and arrow keys for little mouse. All they can do is run to the left,right and jump but I am not sure how they pick up things or shoot at the enemies.

Tom And Jerry Time Travel Game 2: detective has nothing to do with the game

On many different gaming sites I've read about Tom and Jerry fighting monsters on some distant unexplored and hostile planet, but this is not gonna happen here, not at least on stage 1. The only 'monster' I've seen is Hanna-Barbera's Top Cat who is only threatening to Jerry and Nibbles by running to the left and right, and basically he's just another obstacle two mice need to jump over to carry on with their adventure.

As a matter of fact they don't even need to jump him over at all as he'll just run through them without hurting anybody. Well, that obvsiously suck.

While writing this review with the game running in the background, I've realized the game ended up with the screen showing Tom catches Jerry, which is even more confusing because this game has nothing to do with Tom whatsoever.

Finally, after several attempts I got it. To win the level, you need to 'kill' Top-cat by jumping onto his head. A bunch of stars will show up, following you in a form of a hovering cloud for some time, and than you need to pass the house, get to the far right and pop the balloon to earn another 'cloud of starts'. The house's door get open and Jerry and Nibbles are free to go inside and that's it.
