Tom and Jerry and Tweety Are Zombies

Tom is big, and that's why the game developer decided to make him a muscle guy in this game, the one who goes around and pick things up and collects stuff. A tool guy. Jerry on the other hand, he's a poor little mouse, small and weak but responsible enough to carry a gun! Fair enough. If you too always though how Jerry is a dick in this show, can you imagine his attitude with a gun in his hand. I don't think I could bear that.

So, what these two guys are doing in another maze like incarnation, a game we've seen like 4 times so far? Guess again. They're going after cheese. Ok, I can understand Jerry. He's mouse and they eat everything, including the cheese. But why on earth would anybody think cats like cheese? The last time I offered a piece of cheese to my tomcat he tried to scratch me, before he run away.

This is actually a two players game, with separate controls for Tom and different controls for Jerry. Nothing unusual though: wasd and arrows keys. The instructions have failed to explain how Jerry shoots out of his gun, which button do I need to press to put a bullet through Tweety. Don't know at this point, but will see..

Tom and Jerry go after cheese through zombie land

Despite what instructions say, I don't see any gun on Jerry. So if I understood the rules well, Tom does everything, he needs to collect all the cheese while Jerry is doing nothing. And than, both of them need to get to the house guarded by Zombie Tweety, who appears not doing anything except for doing that funny zombie in place walk. Can't wait to get up there and see what happens when Jerry faces Tweety.

Oh, I see. It's not everything that simple. There are these spikes, the obstacles coming out from the ground. If you touch them, you loose a life. The line in top left corner says 'level 1, coins 6/9'. What the hell are coins??!! They obviously reworked this game and forgot to change the text. No coins in this one - only cheese !!! Heello!

Level 2 gets somewhat different and harder

I understand now. The counter in the top left corner counts your 'dead' or 'lost' lives. When it reaches number 9 (cats have nine lives!), you're done, I mean - dead. The point is to get to the house, and the only way to deal with Tweety, the zombie, is to jump over it.

The game is so stupid that you can get Tom to the house first, and than make Jerry go through the same way, doing nothing btw, just making sure not to get into some kind of trouble.

Next level, as yo can see looks a little bit different. More zombies, and the map is different too. I guess it's harder. All in all, not bad game. We've seen it all before, but, who cares.
