Jerry Cloud Jumping is very simple 'jumping' adventure with Jerry in the leading role. As we all know, mice can't fly, but if Jerry jumps from cloud to cloud very carefully, he might get pretty high up. The main problem is that those clouds are very soft and they disintegrate very easily even under the weight of one small mouse. That means that after you leave one cloud you can't go back again. As you go higher and higher you need to keep thinking about the next cloud you're going to jump on. Somewhere up there, Tom and his friends are joyriding on balloons. If you happen to bump into any of them, you get double points and can jump even higher then before.

Controls

You control Jerry only using mouse. Left click is used for the first jump only. After that all you need to do is move mouse left and right and that's about it. In some similar games I have played so far, like 'Bobby Jumper' for example, you can use arrow keys to navigate too. My impression is that you can achieve higher precision using keys and automatically achieve better results. There is minimal delay between your hand movement and Jerry's jump, but nothing of consequence to the game. In the end, it is technically possible to to glue Jerry to the mouse pointer, but those kind of games inevitably leave bad impression and look 'cheap'. Still, I have to admit that mouse is pretty 'sensitive' and that the main difficulty for the player is to 'restrain' Jerry when player instinctively makes sudden moves in order to reach the next cloud and thus avoid deadly fall into an abyss.
